NUW launches Market Research Campaign
Thursday July 21, 2005
With initial negotiations for a new Collective Agreement set to commence tomorrow (July 22) it is important members stay up-to-date with all developments to ensure you and your workmates receive the best possible EBA.
NUW members working in Market Research will receive information on negotiations as soon as it comes to hand via the new web page.
The Campaign page also contains a link to the current Agreement, enabling members to check their current working conditions.
The current Agreement will form the basis of the new EBA, with additional claims being made by the NUW after a mass survey of Market Research employees.
The NUW log of claims is also available to download from the Market Research Campaign page, as is AMRO’s response to the claims and their counter-claims.
Negotiations for a new Collective Agreement for Market Research members come as debate surrounding the Howard Government’s radical Industrial Relations changes intensifies.
The importance of a strong Agreement for Market Research members is now even more critical, given the current climate surrounding the Federal Government’s changes.
With a dedicated campaign page, NUW members can now keep abreast of this crucial negotiation that will help to secure their employment conditions in the long-term.
To view the new Market Research Campaign page, please see the ‘Campaigns’ section of this website.
