The NUW is calling for volunteers to assist with the campaign against the Howard Government's IR reforms
|
Do you have some spare time to assist with letter box drops? Would you like to be a community ambassador in your neighbourhood? Do you have some time to help out at shopping centre stalls?
Then why not volunteer to assist the NUW in its campaign against the Howard Government’s radical Industrial Relations agenda.
Last week more than 130 members signed up to assist with the campaign at the Victorian Delegates Conference.
This was a great result, and a true indication of how opposed our members are to the Government’s plans to slash working families’ wages and conditions.
Thank you to all of you who volunteered last week. We will be in touch shortly as the campaign gets into full swing.
But we still need more volunteers.
So if you would like to become more involved please fill in the form attached and either fax, mail or email it back to the NUW.
You can fax it to (03) 9287 1717, or mail it to the NUW Victorian Branch at 552 Victoria St, North Melbourne, Vic, 3051 or email it to nuwvic@nuw.org.au
This campaign will be a long one, and there are many different ways for you to take part, so any assistance you can give you would be greatly appreciated.
And don’t forget, all details of the NUW and ACTU campaign against the so-called reforms, can be found in the ‘Campaigns’ section of this website.
