National Day of Community Protest, November 15 2005

Over 500, 000 workers and their families, as well as other concerned community members joined together for the largest demonstration in Australia's history on November 15 to protest against the Howard Government's Industrial Relations changes.
Protestors at over 300 locations across Australia were linked together through a special video hook up via Sky Channel.
Thousands of NUW members in every state were at the protest. Members dotted each city with NUW banners, flags and hats as they walked together.
The protest sent a clear message to the Howard Government any attempt to reduce the working rights of Australians would be done at their peril.
