National Week of Action - Qld

The ACTU has organised a National Week of Action from June 26 to 30 specifically focusing on the impact of the Howard Government's new Industrial Relations legislation.
There will be a Rally on June 28, 2006 similar to the November National hook-up last year which saw over half-a-million people attend nationwide.
Details of the event are still to be determined, but what is known so far is that:
There will be a rally on June 28, 2006 at Noon at the Southbank Cultural Forecourt
This will be followed by a march to Roma Street Parklands
Guest speaker, ACTU Secretary Greg Combet, will be attending the Brisbane Rally
Lunch will be provided at the Parklands
There are many events happening in regards to Your Rights at Work, and it is very important that every working citizen gets involved.
This legislation will not only hurt you it will impact your and your family's future.
Take a stand, get involved as you are worth more than $12.75 an hour without penalty rates.
