Toyota members' windfall

NUW members at Toyota in Brisbane and Townsville have received a $141,000 (in total) windfall after the union recently settled on a wages recovery with the company.
The claim involved the payment of revised classifications of store workers at both sites.
Organiser John Cosgrove said “This is a significant win for the NUW members at these sites following months of negotiations.”
He added that it was another great example of why employees in our industries should become a member of the NUW.
