Rock the Vote - Brisbane 2006

Monday November 20, 2006

Over 5000 music fans filled Brisbane’s RNA Showground on Saturday (November 18) to see a host of Australian and overseas music acts ‘Rock the Vote’.

Rock groups You Am I, Shihad, The Butterfly Effect and Spiderbait joined electronic and hip-hop acts Soma Rasa, Lyrics Born, DJ Nick Toth, The Resin Dogs, and Pigeon John for the giant festival.

There were also guest appearances from Federal Labor MP Peter Garrett and the team from ABC comedy series The Chaser’s War on Everything.

Hightlights from a great day of music and information about the Howard Government's radical IR laws are below.
