Women watch out! Coming soon
Thursday July 27, 2006
South Australian women will be able to examine the impact of the Howard Government's IR laws at a conference in August.
The 'Women Watch Out' conference will be crucial for any South Australian woman interested in how their rights will be affected under the Federal Government's changes.
The conference will look at ways women can work together for the benefit of working people, despite the challenges presented by the Government's radical laws.
The conference will take place on Saturday August 12, from 9am to 4pm. It will be held at the Australian Education Union Building, 163 Greenhill Road, Parkside.
The conference is free, but you will need to register before the day. Registration is easy; simply contact Organiser Mary Hajstassi on 8208 4400.
The day's program will be posted on the NUW website soon, so check back here regularly for more information.
