Victorian Picnic Day 2006
Tuesday September 26, 2006
Well over 8,000 members and their families headed to Moonee Valley Racecourse on September 25 for another massive Victorian Picnic Day.
A combination of great Spring weather, school holidays, and some great activities ensured a huge number of members were able to enjoy all the day had to offer.
The show bags once again proved very popular with the kids, as did the face painting, frisbees, horse and other rides, dodgem cars, kicking competitions, as well as some great prizes.
All the members were able to enjoy a free barbeque lunch, after which the day's highlight - the running races - got underway.
Below are some great photos from another hugely successful Picnic Day. We look forward to another great day next year.
