Industrial Representation
The NUW is registered under the Workplace Relations Act 1996 and represents
workers on matters of wages and conditions, including unfair dismissals
in the Australian Industrial Relations Commission, and in industry and
company based negotiations. Workers employed under The Victorian State
System are fully represented and their wages and conditions protected.
NUW members enjoy the benefits of enterprise agreements. In addition each
branch of the union is registered in the various state industrial relations
systems.
