NUW welcomes NUW General Branch President
Dani Shanahan is our Union's Lead Organiser in Queensland. She has worked in almost every role across the NUW; organising, recruiting, training and superannuation.
Dani is a truly committed unionist and has been in the NUW for 18 years. She was one of the first women to begin organising in Queensland and many members would think of Dani standing on tables at mass meetings and taking the lead to unite workers.
The Union welcome's Dani's new role as General Branch President, and takes this time to once more thank our former President Doug Stevens for many years of service to the NUW.
