NUW Assist
While NUW Organisers do everything in their power to be on hand for members every time they are needed, often organisers are in meetings with members and are unavailable.
To make sure members can always contact an organiser, we created NUW Assist.
NUW Assist is staffed by seven trained organisers and provides a significant extra resource for members.
As always, we encourage you to talk to your Delegate about any issues you have at work, but if you do not know who they are, they are unavailable, or cannot answer your query, NUW Assist is here to help you.
The NUW Officials on the end of the phone;
- have access to your site agreements, company policies and legislation
- can answer any questions you have about your workplace including all your wages, conditions and entitlements, or your union in general.
- know who your delegates and health and safety reps are
- keep your site Organiser informed, via email, about any issues which are happening at your worksite and what they can do to help you.
