Inghams' members vote in Somerville after rebuild

Organisers were on site last week at Inghams in Somerville as members voted in 17 delegates. Some past delegates were re-elected, but many are new and, importantly, several casual members have been voted in. It's great to see so much activism on site.

Ighams vote 1In 2010, members stuck together to keep their jobs in Victoria. Workers appealed to Bob Ingham to acknowledge their hard work  that had led to a successful business in Victoria.

The story at Someville is improving all the time. There are now 485 workers on site – 250 new workers have started since Christmas. Without the organised efforts of members at Inghams, many workers in Victoria might be out of a job today. Congratulations to all the members at Inghams, who keep the business running and profitable, and to the 17 newly elected delegates.
