International Women's Day - Celebrating Super Women
Yesterday the NUW played host to over 70 fantastic women at its International Women’s Day celebration in Melbourne.
This year the theme of superannuation was explored with industry super fund LUCRF participating and helping to answer a range of questions and concerns pertaining to the sometimes neglected topic of superannuation in relation to women.
Delegates and members travelled from around Australia with special guests from the NZ Dairy Workers Union Women’s Committee also in attendance.
The event was important in highlighting choices available to women in regards to their super and empowering them with the various options they have available.
Workshops, guest speakers, fabulous food and a great time were had by all. The day finished off with a quiz and raffle, which had some terrific prizes
