Long serving leader retires from the NUW
This year NUW National President, Doug Stevens will retire after more than 20 years at the Union.
Officials and staff celebrated the contribution that Doug has made to the Union on Friday 9 December and the many roles he has played, from a rank and file member to Melbourne division Secretary and finally National President.
Doug has continued to organise in the Defence sector; his knowledge and experience is testament to his dedication in every role he has played.
The NUW wishes Doug the best in his future endeavors and gives thanks for the many years of hard work and leadership.
