Roy Morgan research campaign

NUW members at Roy Morgan want to get the same pay and conditions as the rest of the industry. They do the same work and they don't think it is fair to be told they deserve less.

Roy Morgan workers want pay justice

Roy Morgan Campaign

First bargaining meeting complete

It has been a long time coming and some said we would never make it, but we are now at the table bargaining to lift Roy Morgan Researchers wages and conditions. Delegates will be at all bargaining meetings. They will be presenting and explaining our log of claims over the coming weeks. The company has agreed to the delegates being on paid time while negotiating improvements for workers at Roy Morgan.

In a positive recognition of the NUW’s growing numbers and strength the company has agreed to put a union notice board in the tea room – this will make communicating with members across all shifts much easier.

The company has also agreed to meet at least once a week to ensure that we progress the bargaining as quickly as possible.

Roy Morgan members go face to face...

Congratulations to Roy Morgan face to face researchers, you now have the chance to bargain collectively with phone interviewers for improvements to your wages and conditions.

Face to face interviewers work all around Australia – the union has received calls and gained members in South Australia, Victoria and Queensland since the news that the new agreement would cover them too got out.

Welcome to our new face to face members!

NUW Delegates at Roy Morgan

As workers at RMR they are the people to see to join the union.

RM delegates

.... UPDATE ....

Roy Morgan has responded to the member's log of claims and agreed to bargain with the National Union of Workers. Now is the time to show that we are united at Roy Morgan.

Members want fairness, they want the industry standard pay and conditions of $23.09 an hour and paid breaks.

Campaign for wage justice builds

More workers are joining the campaign for wage justice every week and four new delegates are currently doing NUW delegate training.

Keep an eye out for organisers and delegates at Roy Morgan several times a week. Have a chat, get informed and get active.

With union density growing, the strength of the workers to win their rights is growing too.

It's time for Roy Morgan to catch up with the rest of the industry; workers demand respect. Roy Morgan now has a log of claims. You can download a copy of the log of claims here.

Workers at Roy Morgan get organised

Workers at Roy Morgan want wage and conditions justice. For years they have suffered wages and conditions that are below the agreed industry standard, they have now said enough.

Since February 2011 NUW delegates, members and organisers have been running a campaign at Roys. In that time we have seen 70 new members, 4 new delegates and hundreds of workers signing a majority support petition that ensures the company has to bargain.

Our membership is strong and gaining by the day with our decision to commence bargaining with the company at the end of March this year.
