Take part in the NUW's OH&S Survey
Thursday May 10, 2007
Market Research workers can now take part in a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety survey.
The survey is available to download below. It has also been emailed to union members.
The survey is the result of work done by the NUW’s Occupational Health and Safety Committee established as part of the current Market Research Collective Agreement.
The next Committee meeting will take place at the end of May, where the initial feedback from the survey will be presented by the NUW. This will be used to improve the Health and Safety of Market Research employees via discussions with AMSRO.
The Committee is made up of five NUW Market Research members, one NUW Market Research Official, and an equal number of employer representatives.
NUW Market Research Victorian Organiser Godfrey Moase, who sits on the Committee, said the survey was a tangible benefit of the current Market Research Collective Agreement.
“This survey and the improved Health and Safety that we hope will flow from it is the direct result of action from employees and the NUW.
“The NUW is committed to addressing some of the OH&S issues that exist at Market Research sites and are highlighted in the survey. It is further proof of the benefits of Collective Bargaining,” he said.
