Aunty Agreement - shift allocations
Friday May 11, 2007
The NUW wants to help you get to know the Market Research Collective Agreement, and what it has to say about your working rights.
Below you'll find all you need to know about your rights in relation to shift allocations...
Thanks to the work of Market Research employees Australia-wide, clause 17.11 of your Collective Agreement obliges employers to take availability, relative merit (e.g. expertise and experience), length of service, and the need to provide continuing work to ongoing quarterly employees into account when allocating shifts.
Added to this, you also have the right to be informed about how work has been allocated, or have the NUW do it on your behalf. Asking can help you get and keep the shifts that are best for you.
You can download a copy of the Market Research Collective Agreement from our activist page.
