Stress and anxiety present in Market Research Industry: survey

Thursday June 28, 2007

In May, the NUW asked for Market Research workers’ thoughts on stress and anxiety in the workplace.

The aim of the study was to gain a better understanding of health risks present in the Industry, and to identify factors of particular concern that might need to be investigated further.

The results showed that workplace stress and anxiety is prevalent in the Industry, affecting both employees and employers’ bottom lines.

Employees gave their thoughts on stress and anxiety in the workplace, as well as monitoring and performance assessment.

The NUW will use the results to push for improved health and safety for all Market Research workers.
