Basic Occupational Health and Safety Rep Course (*)
This course is an approved WorkSafe Victoria course and is designed for newly-elected Health and Safety Representatives.
Course duration – 5 days (3 days one week and 2 days two weeks later)

- Understanding of the Victorian Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004
- Regulations and codes of practice
- Trade union approach to OH&S
- Role of Health and Safety Reps
- Issue resolution
- Managing OH&S at work
- OH&S Committees
- Inspections
Cost: $550 per person to employer
