Workers at Baxter Laboratories in Boronia are taking industrial action for the first time tomorrow after rejecting their employer's pay offer.
Baxter Laboratories are offering a 3% pay increase, which will see the lowest paid workers at the site start on an hourly rate of only $20.78/hr. At the same time, employees are expected to work doubly hard every day to manufacture the well-recognised Aussie brands we use every day.
It's the same story across Australia - wages are stagnating while productivity continues to rise. Workers are not being treated with respect - we deserve #JobsYouCanCountOn!
Now NUW members at Baxter Laboratories are standing up and fighting back!
We know that #AustraliaNeedsAPayRise and are ready to take action to make it happen.
