Geelong Trades Hall are hosting their equal pay conference ‘Working Women Get Organised – The Fight For Equal Pay’ on Saturday 13 October.

The conference will consist of panels and workshops on equal pay, the history of the oppression of women, identifying and challenging sexism at work, union building in the face of wage theft and sexism, the right to strike using a gendered lens, public speaking for women, and an Equal Pay Rally and Conference Dinner.
The conference will be opened by Kara Keys (ACTU National Campaign Organiser) – who will give a Key Note Speech ‘Changing the Rules for Working Women’ and the conference dinner will be opened by Key Note Speaker Corrine Grant (Maurice Blackburn Lawyer) - 'Women in Female Dominated Industries - Collective Action vs the current media and community focus on the actions of individual women'.
Comrades and supporters are very welcome to attend for all or part of the conference, rally and dinner. Dinner is included in conference entry price.
