A screening of the film 'Amongst Equals' takes place on Wednesday 6.30pm, 27th March at the Drill Hall.

This incredible work documents the history of the Australian labour movement, from the 1850's up until the bicentenary of 1988.

Amongst Equals’ acknowledgement of the historical defeats of the labour movement, and the film's emphasis on struggle rather than consensus in advancing workers’ interests has in the past caused some division in the movement - and led to it being largely unwatched until now! This is an incredible opportunity to watch some rarely-seen footage that tells the story of our movement.
