After a disciplined campaign by NUW members at Toll Kmart, with permanent and casual workers sticking together through thick and thin, workers have voted up a new workplace agreement.

Workers won: 40 new permanent jobs, improved afternoon shift allowance, breaks for casuals working 4 hour shifts, and wording in the agreement that acknowledges a workers right to access leave in cases of domestic violence. Workers also fought off the company's push for casual wage freezes and new starter rates.
