Stallholder delegates meet with Council

After the election of long-term QVM stallholder Michael Caiafa to Melbourne City Council in 2016, stallholders now have a voice on council to represent stallholders and the community who want to protect the Market.

Stallholder delegates also met with Greens Councillors Rohan Leppert and Cathy Oke to discuss their concerns last December. On 30 January, stallholder delegates will also be meeting with the Lord Mayor Robert Doyle for the first time since this campaign has begun. We will update supporters on the meeting and hope that stallholder rights and the protection of the heritage and culture of the QVM can become the priorities for 2017.
